Perennial Has A Home!

Perennial announced its future home in the Temtor building at 8125 S. Michigan Ave. in South Carondelet today. This building used to house a Coca Cola syrup plant and is now being converted into 77 loft apartments, mixed retail, and, of course, our brewery!

The Brewhouse will be installed in the space pictured above. This level of the brewery will also accomodate our grain mill, cold storage, office space, and lab.

Our fermentation cellar and packaging area will be on a slightly lower level of the brewery space. This level will also house our barrel-aging operation.

Our tasting room will be adjacent to the brewery cellar, and will feature bar seating and tables. Our beers will be available for consumption in the tasting room, as well as "to go" in both growlers and bottles.

When the weather is permitting, our customers will be able to enjoy their beers outdoors in our beer garden--which is positioned at the front entrance of our tasting room. Construction is currently under way, and we anticipate opening in May 2011. Be sure to check back for updates as we move closer to firing up our first brew. Happy Holidays from Perennial Artisan Ales!

We are moving full steam ahead with Pipeworks here in Chicago. After a successful fundraising effort we just purchased a 3 BBL brewhouse and are on our way to finding a location.

We are looking forward to following your progress and hopefully a visit once ya'll are open.

Cheers
